Spring Around Here

We rung in spring at school, with Spring Festival. The kindergartners loaned our karaoke machine (thanks, Aunt Bagel!) and listened to some favorite jams. 


Devon is Tess' secret admirer. Here he demonstrates his swagger.

The nail-painting station was a favorite of girls and boys alike.

We found a nest in our backyard! Three beautiful eggs became three strange (but lovely!) fuzzy hatchlings. :)

The Cutest Secret Pre-Bedtime Note

So Jack was tuckered out after a very busy Halloween. He knew he was going to have to hit the sack soon.... but he had *really* enjoyed giving some candy to the last few groups of trick-or-treaters who had come to our door. So he padded over to our table and set out to writing a note. I didn't really know what he was up to, but he got some tape and set out his note with the remaining candy so that kids who came after his bedtime would be well taken care of. We are proud of our friends who are getting through the holidays with grace. We are struggling a bit, since we have had to deal with lots of illnesses and missed school/work this month. Which makes for a Grinch-y Mommy. Our Elfie has been awesome though (that dude gets *all* the credit!!)! Somebody has learned peekaboo! Unfortunately, with her dress.
