We had lots of reasons which I won't go into.... But Mommy decided one day to take a detour over to Kids Kuts, and there Ariel took Jack from floppy surfer dude-hair to this fantastic "faux-hawk" or "shark fin", depending on your preference of name. He loves it! Says he doesn't want to go back. Me, I shed a little tear.

Tess shakes her groove thang

You have to look closely… But they're there!

Life is fragile

Put the girls to sleep together tonight, at bedtime. It was beautiful to see their little restful faces together in bed, if just for a minute... I have been moved lately by the 30 things I'm thankful for in November. And by the story of the Krim family, who aren't exactly friends, but are in our social circles. I won't forget how blessed we are, and how quickly things can change. Prayers to the Krims--

UPDATES!! (warning: VERY LONG)

Wow! More than two weeks without a blog post?! That's a personal record, I think!! So. The news is that we MOVED! Probably most of you know this, since it's not like we're blog celebrities with fake friends or anything. Anyway, just a couple miles up the road but it makes no diff when you have three kids in tow. Shenanigans ensue. First, Auntie Phyllis arrived, to help with all the changes  and we went to a Kids Expo where there are hamster balls for everyone... well, maybe not everyone  and Little Miss is ready to join in soccer class... Next up: Fall Festival at school (while the packers were at work at old house) And finally... HALLOWEEN. When we officially live at the new house, albeit half in boxes, and we are partying it up with new neighbors. RV at the end of the culdesac?? This is new. Friendly neighbor poses with kids. Wish I knew her name. Poor kid. Tuckered out. That is, until we get home. :(...
