Tessie at the SD County Fair
Tess performed with the Carlsbad Dance Centre at the County Fair today... It wasn't quite the *perfect* performance of recital day, but then... who cares? With rides and a sno-cone included, it was just right for US. :) Mommy and Tess self-portrait on the carousel Tess chose the Tiger :) But then when the tiger didn't move, she chose a nice filly Riding the (teacup-like) dragons with Alexis and her daddy Riding the caterpillar with Alexis and her daddy Kissy face for Mom And finally.... Kinder-Graduate!
HOORAY! Jack is promoted to first grade! Ms. Maggie and Ms. Gaby have been awesome teachers... we are sad to leave their guidance.
Preschool "Graduation"
Tess will go to Jack's school next year... not because we were necessarily ready for that, but because her preschool will be closing down due to low enrollment. We have *loved* Ms. Maryam for several years now, and we will miss her influence in our lives.
The Slip N Slide Returns!

ECDS Olympics
Like a true boy "communicating" with his mother... I found out about these Olympics approximately 2 hours before they began. Jack's team at school was the Cobras, and their color was yellow, both of which he seemed excited about. Apparently they won gold!! Congrats, Cobras!!
