The Burnett Family (aka Wyld Type)

Both Jack and Tess are playing fall t-ball! Since Tess' game began first (9am), we'll begin with chronicling her first season.... Go Team Orange! (we forgot to make a "real" name) Next up.... JACK! His team got named the "Jedi"... Needless to say, our Star-Wars-obsessed little man was pretty pumped about that. Gold team again! Guess we're on a roll.

This is what happens when the family photographer does not go on the campouts... Photos will apparently be trickling in, people.... Sorry about that! Here's a few to give a taste of that crazy boys' weekend. Ready for a bonfire What day-old red "warpaint" looks like Racing Check out Nixon in the last row!! I *think* this is bead trading. But I really don't know. :)

Jack and Daddy had their very first Indian Guides campout together this weekend. Jack was super-excited to do pinecar derby racing, bead trading, and bonfires complete with songs and smores. Daddy was excited for all those, plus after-hours poker and adult beverages. Meanwhile, on the cul-de-sac.... Tess and Mommy were busy with "girl parties"! We did dress up with Zoe, watched Beauty and the Beast (while playing with Belle's polly-pockets alter ego), and enjoyed a friend's birthday party. The family reunited to enjoy football Sunday. A perfect weekend (except for missing our boys!)!

FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN!! We were all a little anxious but mostly pumped for today's festivities!! Miss Maggie and her aide, Miss Marzi, welcomed Jack and 14 other students into his new kinder classroom. And as you can see, he was ready to get right to work. :) First work... right off to making shapes on the pegboard.
