We made a night of it this Memorial Day weekend by inviting two of our neighbor families over for a festive evening of grilled meat, s'mores, and sleeping under the stars! It was an amazing night... especially since 3 of the 5 children included in these tents slept through the night! (noteworthy especially when you consider that 2 out of 3 moms did NOT) Tenttown Ring around the rainfly rosy.. Art time!! A boy and his dog...  Glow-in-the-dark games!! To be truthful, it wasn't the greatest outing of all time... without an adult sidekick, it's hard to manage these two at a fair!! BUT... we saw a gun show, lots of peacocks, a mechanical bull, and ponies! Fun was had by all. I can't help it, I just love this picture. See? Mechanical bull. And a PONY!! This guy was just trying to impress me.... But really, these peacocks were everywhere!! Poor things, the gun show made them run to every corner of the Ranch....

Zoe would like you to admire her excellent form, as well as superb outfit choice. Tess would like you to admire the "trick" she often performs inadvertently.... that is, riding full-speed ahead while looking elsewhere.

Our "baby" is THREE! We hosted about 15 of our favorite three year olds (with siblings) for a Mad Hatter's Tea Party this afternoon. What fun! Mad Hatter's table is SET! Dearest BF Zoe models the white top hat Jonah tries croquet... Hannah pins the grin on the Cheshire Cat Jack and Kyla toot their horns The Birthday Girl receives her cake!! Smile and say THREE!
