A nearby art studio created a summer camp to build working Lego robots.... Jack's dream come true. He had a blast every day with instructor "Robot Randy" (please people, you can't make this stuff UP), making lego creations and bringing them to life, as well as snacks and robot crafts. Getting it all hooked up Getting the crocodile sensor to snap its jaws shut! Jack posed (unprompted) as Mr. Roboto... Maybe my fave photo ever. Getting the robot legs to kick a soccer ball Spinning top competitions

Jack Sound Byte

Overheard on a TV commercial: "you're never too small to make big things happen!" And Jack says: "But I'm BIG, so I can make HUMONGOUS things happen!"

Lego Dates :)

My main man Jack-o and I had some free time Monday afternoon, so we hit up Legoland after a morning spent at robot camp. Is that like the coolest day EVER? Am I right?

The Name Game

Image
So cool (usually) that my 3 yr old girl listens to everything going on around her! Check this out--she wrote her entire name, first and last, without help! (Who knows what the word at the bottom is, however....) Just amazing to watch. :)

Saturday morning work time

Jack's official last day of Montessori preschool was Friday... and by the next morning he was already in withdrawal! Here you see him, with his art-class glasses on, working to finish his 50 states....
