The Burnett Family (aka Wyld Type)

The SD Zoo has been on our summer to-do list, so when the kids were bored.... Mommy indulged their requests. It was a long trip, but on a weekday, parking was a cinch and we just did a best-of kind of tour... It was awesome! Checking out the flamingos at the entrance Jack cares for Clara (always) Mugging with the rhino I just looove this expression on Tess--are you kidding me?

Well, it was a half-day. Or maybe just two hours. But the loading of the car and picnic and activities and cleanup was a full day. OK? Heading out to make their drip castle Clara might have been the only one who would pose for a picture. :-/ This photo was taken before we left the beach parking lot. Pooped!! :)

Tess was excited to see Lindsey in the audience! Belting it out! :) Acting.... And of course we love how she chose a PURPLE dress for PINKALICIOUS day... but this girl forever marches to the beat of her own drummer!

A NEST! We had babies in the nest this past week... In a shrub near the pool. Joe and Jack happened to see it when the babies were making noise. So cool! You can practically see this guy's stomach with my telephoto. :) Mama Bird... NOT. A. FAN.
